Patty Moore moved home to the Springfield area of Illinois from Charlotte, North Carolina via Austin in 2020.  

That was her impetus for developing her online teaching service.  Some of her students wanted to continue with her in lessons even though it would mean changing from lessons at the music school where she taught in Charlotte  and then in Austin, to taking their lessons with her online.  

They were brave, pioneering souls who believed it would work.  It did!  Most of those people continue to take lessons with her to this day via Skype.  She is an experienced, committed and patient teacher.

 Patty earned her B.A. from San Francisco State University in the Early Education Liberal Studies program with the Focus in Music and graduated with honors. Her  A. A. was earned in Music and Fine Arts from Lincolnland Community College, Springfield, Illinois.  She has extensive private training including lessons with several internationally known recording artists. 
           
Sax and flute experience include a wide variety of contemporary groups with styles mainly focused in Blues and Jazz, but including Rock, Irish music, Serbian Folk, Classical, Folk and World Music. Most recent bands include The Ramsey Moore Project,  Saxicat, Patty Moore and Alex Adinolfi Duo in the Austin area and The Victor James Band playing Rock and Blues and The Tony Berkley Band playing Soul, Motown and Jazz in Charlotte. Patty has a long history of working as a solo artist singing and playing guitar.  She also composes her own music.
